Day Seven

Day Seven
July 17

Arrived in Fundy National Park earlier, after driving along the coast with all it's spectacular scenery. But Fundy tops all that. This place is nature at it's most beautiful. We set up our tent in a hilltop campsite. The fog started to roll in about an hour ago...it's incredible to see. All the trees, the beach, the little road, all shrouded in mist and the twilight of the dying day.

Aaron is currently working on starting a fire. Chino I can't see, he's likely mixing a drink or perhaps cutting up weed. I think we're all feeling the calming effects of this place...slowly easing away the stress of the road.

Oddly enough we've ended up stopping here, although it was never planned. That's the beauty of our sorta open-ended/not intensely planned trip: it allows us to do whatever we want, essentially. I'm glad we came to this place, though. This is my kind of landscape. The sun must have set, somewhere over the horizon. It's growing dimmer by the second. I'll leave you with that image for tonight.
