Day Two

Day Two.July 12

We're still alive.

Day two in Ottawa has been good so far. Wandered around the city last night and had a look around. The nightlife is pretty good. People everywhere. Chino lost his wallet. Found it a minute later. Aaron was sure he knew the spot where he attacked him (which was why Chino lost it in the first place). Said it was near the statue of "Captain Morgan".

Today we visited the Science and Technology museum. Kind of a sweet place. Also got food of our own which has improved our food spending situation. Aaron and Chino have taken to saying "bud" all the time. Even to the point of such colourful statements as: "Look buddy, you're my bud. Bud." I wonder what tomorrow's word will be.

Attempted to visit the War museum but it has been taken over by Bluesfest. Huge festival. After that I decided I don't want to drive anymore today.

Walking around, I was stricken by the strangeness of all the people...all on some private business or venture. Any direction you look, a new face. Crowds always seem strange to me. As cool as Ottawa is, I feel stuck here. There's so much more to see...so I can't say I'll be sad to leave it. Plus it's fuckin hot here.

P.S. We became a regular attraction of the tour groups that came through the place like clockwork. We must be pretty interesting..haha Everywhere we chilled the group would come by. Making dinner..playing guitar...They saw it all
