Day Seventeen

Day Seventeen.4967.4km
July 27

Spent the day climbing mountains. Woke up and had a good breakfast, then we undertook what must be one of the most intense trails in the whole park. It hugged the edges of the hills until it plummeted to the beautiful seashore. The air smells sweet here. Like life. I took way too many pictures too. What I saw today was easily the most amazing place I've ever seen. Gorgeous coastlines with hills and forests reaching inland. And cliffs. Amazing cliffs. We even saw wild sheep, which were completely out of place. They seem used to people though. I'm pretty much exhausted. And sunburnt. But I've seen something I'll never forget.

Chino mentioned that we were in Never-Never Land. That sounds about right. Gros Morne is a UNESCO world heritage site. That's kind of a big deal. What it means is that this place fucking rules, essentially. One of my favorite parts was the waterfall...with the sun pouring down light and there must have been at least thirty giant Dragonflies buzzing around. I could go on.. but I'm dead tired and it's hot in the car.
So peace.
